Hi folks,my car meets all Canadian and US regulation for importing into the US so I would like to take it with me.  Has anyone does this before?  How was insuring it and getting it registered done?  what is needed?  I know in the state they do a title check and leans but am don't believe they are able to access any Canadian systems to do this.  I also keep hearing about proving title, is that simply showing them my Alberta registration?Thanks  See More

Hi folks, I would like to thank all the peop0le here for the info they have provided, I personally have found this site very helpful in my relocation efforts.  All the opinions and experiences that others have provided where valuable.  In the end we landed on moving to the woodlands in July and renting until our mortgage is finally worked out.  Again a great site and one I will certainly contribute too. CheersSee More
