Share your favorite Olympic Moment
With Canada hosting the Winter Olympics during Vancouver 2010 it can bring to mind your favourite Olympic moment, summer or winter. For some reason it always seems to go back to childhood but there have definitely been some great moments over the last few years.
The Ben Johnson, Carl Lewis rivalry was a great contentious battle. As a kid I was pumped to watch Ben cross that line and break the record but rode the downhill when the steroid scandal broke. That moment taught me a great lesson and is another example of how athletes, at the prime of their career, can teach what you need to do to achieve excellence.
To honour the Vancouver Olympics the Canadian Club of Houston is hosting a fantastic evening of Olympic inspiration. Go to Bringing the Olympic Spirit to Houston and read about Barrie Shepley, who's been inspiring generations of athletes to reach their full potential. He will also be giving the Keynote address.
