Is anyone watching the Grey Cup tomorrow?
Hi there -
My Winnipeg Blue Bombers are in the Grey Cup tomorrow in Vancouver! The Maple Leaf on Elgin "thinks" they are going to be able to offer the game -- is anyone in this group going?
I am SO disappointed I missed Thanksgiving with your group although happy to have discovered it exists.
Looking forward to meeting at the next event -

There was a couple that joined us for Canadian Thanksgiving and on that day the Jets first game was on TV, They stayed to watch the game. Big Jets fans. Really nice People. Can not remember their names. :( Had a few too many Moosehead that day!

When I went to The Maple Leaf on Sunday I asked if they served anything other than Canadian beer since I'm the only Canadian that doesn't drink the stuff...lol Not the same story for margarita's however so I can relate. Hopefully they will pop up or attend one of the events.

OK, did some searching and answered my own question - looks like you're expecting the event to sell out. I'm the last hold-out for not being on Facebook so if you have anyone looking to get rid of a ticket at the last minute feel free to email me as by that time I'll know about attending.
If not I sure hope there is an event in January so I can meet some wonderful Candians :o)

Will do! Hope you and your family all have a great Christmas. I already have plans for Boxing Day this year although I think next year I'm going to encourage this group to arrange a Boxing Day happy hour or something - I will volunteer to head the planning.
