International Tax Accountant Referral

Hello,

It's tax season and I need help!

I moved to Houston several months ago and I'm classified as a "non-resident alien" for tax purposes.

I'm pretty sure I have to file a 1040NR form.

Can anybody refer me to a good tax accountant here in Houston that can help me file both by Canadian and U.S. tax returns?

I have so many questions, and would be nice if somone could provide their phone#.

Ola,

I was able to find a decent tax accountant at HR Block who files Non-Resident/Resident Aliens frequently.

I only filed my U.S. tax return with him. I'm going to file my Canadian tax return when I return back to Canada to visit.

He also has a partner who does wills and estates, something that families new to Houston might wish to consider since their Canadian wills and powers of attorney are no longer valid.
