Canadian Club of Houston

We are heading back to Canada for a couple of weeks and not really sure what to do about health insurance.  Not sure why we didn't think about it before but with a little one it is now a concern.  Are we still covered as Canadian citizens?

I've answered my own question! You are only eligible for provincial healthcare if you have a current health card and are a resident of that province for more than half the year (same determination for tax purposes). If an expat is returning for a trip then you have to verify current US health coverage and how it would apply. In my situation it would count as an Out of Plan situation and we would pay up front and have to submit a claim form upon return.
