Permalink Reply by David Steadman on March 2, 2012 at 12:43pm Very Good Service! I have been to other places in Houston and sent my picture in and twice returned to me because the picture had shadowing. With K Photo, No issue on Shadowing or size. Go here for sure.

Permalink Reply by Lianne Papp on May 6, 2012 at 5:13pm They deserve the business! My photo was accepted, no problems which was a relief since my first one (from Bill's Passport and Photo) was rejected. I'll let all of my Canadian friends know :)

I had my passport pictures from Bill's rejected twice because of flash glare. I can across info about K Photo and Canadian Club of Houston doing Google search. K Photo does honor their guaranteed acceptance by Canada Passport. My first attempt was rejected because they said they could see my teeth (which was not true - when I went back to K Photo a few weeks later, they still had all the pictures they had taken the first time and we reviewed them an in none of the could my teeth be seen). They also said they rejected because of some shadows in my eyes. K photo re-did the pictures at no additional cost. This time I made sure I had my eyes more widely open than normal and mouth tightly closed just to make sure. Pictures were accepted second time. K Photo does not use flash, just normal room lighting so no glare on the face/forehead. They checked and double checked the dimensions of photos and size of the head within the photos to make sure they meet Passport Canada's requirements.
They really care about doing a good job!

It gets tricky with Canadian passport. They have a bunch of abstractly strict requirements. Paying attention to details really comes into play. I am soo glad that you picture finally got accepted, it must've been a huge relief.
Permalink Reply by Glen Swan on May 12, 2012 at 8:24am My daugther who just finished her second year at the University of Calgary is just starting the process of getting her Canadian Passport. She has always travelled with her US passort but she was told the last time she went back into Canada after spring break that the Citizenship card she has used would not be enough in the future. She has decided to stay in Calgary for the summer and just got her first job (part time but it's a start) She knows all the "fun" I have had getting my pictures accepted so was looking for advice on where she should go to get them done. Google sure makes it alot easier to do long distance research. I suggested a place there that seemed to have a good reputation and they also guarantee their work. We will see how it goes.
