Come out and celebrate the holidays by reacquainting yourself with one of Canada's most beloved sports. Suitable for beginners to the most seasoned Skip, the evening will start with some mingling followed by a lesson to get warmed up. I wish we could go but we have a friend visiting from out of town and curling wasn't what she had in mind. You'll have a ton of fun - I've been there and the club is very nice and it's fun (and harder than it looks!).

Can't wait to curl again! I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't going to be more to participate. I just wish I could bring some of my friends who scorn the noble sport!
Had I know we had to pay for equipment I could have stockpiled some from Canadian Tire when I was home in October!! Just kidding, there wasn't any out on the shelves... and my suitcase was full of Smarties.

I was guessing it had to do with the facilities but thanks for the prompt answer! I understand completely! Looking forward to this!

Sure! We have to pay for ice time ($375/hour), use of equipment ($5 per person), and budget for reasonable appetizers. Unfortunately you can't put a price on the time it takes to put something like this together so thanks to Christine for all the hard work.

I haven't curled since high school! Looking VERY forward to this!!!! I'll have to butter up the husband to spend the $60 though!!! Can I ask why the fee is $30?
